TWS Aquavision Exhibition!

It was the meet the artists reception of the TWS Aquavision exhibition this afternoon and it was wonderful to see 5 members of our society with paintings in the show! Congratulations to Jean, Marion, Tony, Diana and Steven for having paintings accepted.

Unfortunately I wasn't allowed to take any general shots of the exhibition to share with you all but I was able to get a photo of Jean, Marion, Tony, Diana and Steven  with their paintings

Diana Bick was also awarded an award of merit  for her painting 'Patchwork quilt of life' and Jean Soong the jurors choice Bronze award for her painting 'Removing veil of hair to see the light'.  Both can be seen below receiving their awards from Nancy Newman the president of TWS

Congratulations to both of you from all of us at BWS! We should all be proud to have such accomplished and talented artists in our group!

The exhibition can be viewed at The Paper Mill Gallery, Todmorden Paper Mills Heritage Museum and Arts Centre, 67 Pottery Rd, Toronto and runs until Sunday December 11th.

Winter ArtFest!

Just letting you know about the Winter Artfest that Nicol Mentis and Diana Bick will be taking part in next weekend.

WINTER ARTFEST 2011! November 26 - 27, 2011; 10 am - 4 pm
It's the return of Winter Artfest, Neilson Park Creative Centre's two-day Art & Craft Sale! Join us on Saturday, November 26th and Sunday, November 27th for two days of food, fun and fantastic arts and crafts vendors! It's the biggest festival of it's kind in the West End!
This year will be bigger than ever, so don't miss out!
