April 7 FULL DAY ABSTRACTED LANDSCAPE WORKSHOP- ACRYLICS. Learn how to simplify and distill a reference photo down to the essential elements needed to convey the essence of the scene. Changing colours and the addition of texture can make your painting even more exciting. We will do 2 paintings.
April 8 FULL DAY ABSTRACT WORKSHOP- ACRYLICS A fun and creative day, using different methods to kick start an abstract painting with a carefully selected colour palette. We will also explore ways to incorporate texture for a second painting

April 14,15 TWO DAY COURSE - COLOUR and VALUES. WATERCOLOURS and ACRYLICS. We will cover the importance of values, notan and a limited palette, colour mixing, colour harmony and selecting your colours to convey what you feel about a subject. And of course how to apply all this as we work on two landscape paintings. I will provide reference material and valuable handouts that you can refer to later.
