Thanks Ona for guiding me to post something on Waterfront, our new blog for BWS members. I am new to this though I have been hoping to start my blog for some time and did not get around to it. Here is my learning platform and I hope all our members can use this to share Art news, artistic experience, personal stories, or good deals on art supplies perhaps etc.
I am playing with this and attach a link to my art work http://bettymmwong.redbubble.com/
Mounting watercolour paper on canvas
I was thrilled to be able to do this relatively easily, thanks to Ona's instruction. I played with a dollar show canvas just in case it didn't work. Will probably do the same using canvases instead of starting from stretchers - too much work. Still cheaper than framing I figure. Will definitely put one in for our Spring Juried show next year.

So great to see you posting Betty! Congrats on your first post as a Waterfront admin person.
Now our members have two people who they can contact with any information or news they would like to share.
So everyone...don't wait for newsletter time, let either Betty or myself know about your news as soon as you know it and we will share it happily with the group.
Don't forget you can comment on any post too just like I have done.

eNice to hear from you Betty. Look forward to seeing you at BWS Xmas/Holiday Party, Tues. Dec. 11/12 at Langstaff CC. Santa will be there too. Lots of fun, food, prizes and inside "scoop" from Doug Purdon about the loves & flings of Picasso & Dali.
